Munich Shuffle Volume I September 1938 – March 1941

A tragic accident in September 1938 sees the Munich negotiations delayed and Neville Chamberlain return from his historic meeting not promising 'peace in our time', but unhappily embracing the need to prepare the British army for the moment when Hitler inevitably breaks his word and plunges Europe into another Great War with the British required to fight on the continent once more. When that war arrives the good fortune that seemed to flow only in the direction of Adolf Hitler and his armies is shared just a little more evenly. With Britain better prepared, and luckier, the course of events in France, Africa, and the Far East take a different turn, opening the prospect of a shorter, better, war than the one recorded in the history books of our world.
